Google Drive with Google Docs, Spreadsheets

Hi,

If I double click a file that is a GOOGLE Doc or Google Spreadsheet (i.e., not a native Word file or Excel file), there does not seem to be a way to OPEN the file. I would expect double clicking to open a new tab, in Google Drive, that opens that Google file.

Am I doing something wrong? I don't want to download these files and MultCloud is not as helpful to me if I can't use it for file access of all files.
