Bad Handling of Special Characters

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but when transfering files via ftp from one server to another, filenames with special characters are being renamed wrongly. 


For example:

Cáribas.jpg

turns into 

C谩ribas.jpg


I've had no issues with either of this servers when transfering from local to server or server to local. 

This only happens with multcloud. 

Any ideas?
