Flickr to Google Photos constantly failing

I used Multcloud about 3 years ago to transfer a lot of photos from Flickr to Google Photos, and it was an unpleasant experience - the transfer would constantly fail and have to be retried many many times.

Now 3 years later I thought I'd try it again, and exactly the same thing is happening.

Is this really that unreliable or is there something I can do to make it work properly? I can't believe anyone actually subscribes to this service as it simply seems not to work properly.

  • @namsupo We check your transfer task. It mainly failed with the error of too many requests or file nonexistence.
The quota limit for requests to access media bytes (by loading a photo or video from a base URL) is 75,000 requests per project per day.
We have contacted Google not long ago and applied for more quota successfully, but since we have many users who are using Google Photos, this error might occur again. For this situation, we suggest that you can retry this process tomorrow.
  • So basically you're selling a service you can't provide.
  • @namsupo No, MultCloud can transfer from Flickr to Google Photos.
But since you have too many files, it is easy to reach the limit.
The program might not work as per your requirements.
We check your subscription has been refunded.
