Two-way Sync between Dropbox for Business and a Google Shared Drive

Our company is trying to get our whole Dropbox over to a Google Shared Drive.  We are currently using both, and some people are saving in Dropbox and some people are working entirely in Drive already.  When we were first setting up the Google Drive, I dragged and dropped folders from Dropbox to Drive in desktop versions.  The folder structure in both is/should be exactly the same though not all files copied properly.  Which is why I want to do the sync.
I want to make sure that all files from Dropbox are over in Google Drive especially.
When I got to set up the two-way sync, I can easily add the whole Dropbox, but, for the Google Drive, even though I am the administrator, I can see what we call The Drive (the shared drive), but it says that I cannot select that for transferring files, and that I must use a subdirectory.  The next level of subdirectories are all individual user folders, and then the Shared Drive within each user's files. The shared drive syncs within the Google Workspace, so, if I sync under my profile for instance, will it only sync the shared drive through my profile?
